Meet the Teachers

Trainer and Instructor
Sage spent her childhood growing up in the many barns where her mother, Jackie, was the trainer and wants for each student to have that same experience of getting to "grow up" in a barn! Before going out on her own and opening RGF, Sage worked as an instructor under her mother at The Lesson Barn and for Matt Shiflet Stables. When not in the barn, Sage can be found trying out different coffee shops and watching plenty of movies!
Sage Schweickert
Trainer and Instructor
Jackie brings with her many years of experience both as a trainer and as an instructor, and now serves as a mentor to Sage under the River Gait Farm banner. During her juvenile and amateur years, Jackie showed both equitation and performance under the direction of Sullivan Davis, Jan Lukens, and showed and worked under the guidance of Claude Shiflet. Anyone that knows Jackie knows that her true favorite thing is a cold Pepsi!
